Pictures!

Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks. Right now, Deven is playing a lot more. He is in a phase where he wants to be entertained during all waking hours. He is no longer content to just sit in his swing or his baby einstein mat. Some of the things he enjoys are: being read to, baby yoga (this just involves me singing a bunch of silly songs to him while moving his arms and legs), going for walks, watching other babies/people, being sung to, dancing to music. He also enjoys his Johnny Jump Up. He doesn't jump yet. I think he likes it because he is upright and can practice standing.

He is still a really great sleeper. When I see his tired signals and put him in his bed, he'll protest really loudly for about 30 seconds and then go right to sleep. No one believes me, though, because when other people are around, including Lee, he'll protest for a lot longer. He is very much a people person at the moment.

Here is a picture of Deven next to his friend Carter on his first day in Sunday class. It was May 16th.

Deven is engrossed in the movie Cars. He really enjoys TV but I don't indulge him very often.

Deven and I try to read a book everyday. At first he would cry but he's learning to like it.

Deven's first trip to the zoo!

We took Deven to the zoo last Saturday. It was a very beautiful day and a little rainy. Lee and I had lots of fun and Deven slept through most of it so I'm guessing he enjoyed himself too. Here are some pictures of our adventure.
